Updates – September – October 2011

As the colder wetter weather has moved in the carp fishing has been patchy although those who braved the elements have been rewarded.

Lots of this years early stocked carp of 2-3″ have been coming out averaging 3/4 lb which is great growth rates for any country never mind Ireland.

Well done Frankie Orr (Portadown) on his first Ivy Lodge Common at 5lb.

These small carp will provide fantastic sport over the next few years as they grow fast due to the large amount of natural food present at Ivy Lodge.

One of the newly stocked carp at Ivy Lodge.
