Updates – June 2013 – CHARITY BBQ NEXT MONTH
Welcome to the June 2013 Ivy Lodge Carp Fishery catch reports and updates blog. We hope the blog will interest you and help to keep you up to date with what’s happening on the banks.
All Members please feel free to send us your pictures and catch reports and we’ll try to add them to the next monthly reports blog. As well as your reports we’ll be contributing our own catches from sessions too.

All members are reminded that Ivy Lodge will host it’s first charity match and barbecue on Saturday 3rd of August. PLEASE EMAIL, TEXT or call STEPHEN on ivylodgecarpfishery@yahoo.co.uk or 07706024063 to confirm your place by 29th of July.
Prizes for the LARGEST fish caught on the day. Entry for the match will be £10 to include your fishing and barbecue.
All members and family welcome with a minimum donation of £5 for each additional non fishing adult for the barbecue to go to a local charity.
Summer has finally arrived in NI!!! Fishing has been improving by the day with all anglers catching well and many getting personal bests for the fishery.
More Records Broken!
Well done to Trevor White who broke the record for largest number of fish caught in a session with 46 carp, tench and bream up to 5 lb all caught on the pole. Andy Currie with 24 carp and tench up to 8 lb.
Other recorded catches include Colin Wike 29 carp tench and bream, Morris Flanaghan with 30 + fish on the pole, Keith Trimble from Loughview Angling Centre, Lurgan had up to 36 carp and tench in a single session on the pole, Darren Halley 24 carp tench and bream.
Darren Hannah 16 carp and tench, Maurice Meaklim 20 fish, Nigel McKinney + 26 fish on the pole, also fishing pals Raymond Press, Tommy McIlwrath and Stephen Burrows had up to 30 fish in a single session.
Frankie Orr up to 11 fish in a session. Willy O’Neil 6 + carp and tench, Darren Sterrit with 8 fish up to 7 lb.
