Ivy Lodge Brings A Smile To Chloe!!!

The Ivy Lodge 2012 season began with a small but very welcome 1 lb 6 oz mirror carp caught by 8 year old Chloe McCaughey on maggots using her first fishing rod which she requested from santa!!.

As the water begins to warm it’s very clear that the fish have put on the weight since this time last year as groups of up to 60 fish from 1lb to 10 lb have been spotted cruising close to the surface during this very mild end of March.

Well done Chloe McCaughey on catching the first Ivy Lodge carp of 2012!!! The smile says it all!
