Updates – May 2013
Welcome to the May 2013 Ivy Lodge Carp Fishery catch reports and updates blog. We hope the blog will interest you and help to keep you up to date with what’s happening on the banks.
All Members please feel free to send us your pictures and catch reports and we’ll try to add them to the next monthly reports blog. As well as your reports we’ll be contributing our own catches from sessions too.
Please send your reports in an email to ivylodgecarpfishery@yahoo.co.uk with the email subject “Pictures” and add your pictures as JPEG attachments. We’ll do the rest…..
With temperatures beginning to rise and the weather more settled May has been a very productive month for many anglers at Ivy lodge and thanks to all who have emailed their catch reports and photographs…..keep them coming and as always we promise to feature everyone who sends over the details of their catches in next months update!
We are pleased to inform that some Ivy Lodge catch records have been broken this month but as it is still early summer we don’t expect them to last long!
Well done to Morris Flanagan with the largest fish catch to date at 41 fish including a 7 lb 3 oz tench (another record) and a 9 lb pole caught carp.
Not far behind was Kevin McCaherty with 31 fish including an 8 lb + ghost carp (see pic below) all on the pole.
Also well done to Trevor White who has been very consistent with catching up to 16 fish in many of his evening sessions again all on the pole.
Other reported catches include Darren Hannah with 12 + fish including a 3 lb tench all on the pole. Also Darren Halley with 20 fish + all on pole fished maggots.
Well done to everyone who caught this month and remember there are new records to be broken as the weather heats up to what we hope with be a fantastic summer of fishing at Ivy Lodge!
