Welcome to the July – August 2014 Ivy Lodge Carp Fishery catch reports and updates blog. We hope the blog will interest you and help to keep you up to date with what’s happening on the banks.

All Members please feel free to send us your pictures and catch reports and we’ll try to add them to the next monthly reports blog. As well as your reports we’ll be contributing our own catches from sessions too.

Ivy Lodge In Top Form For The Summer Months

Reported catches include Paul Stevenson 32 carp and tench on the method feeder and pellet.

Frankie Orr 30 carp on method feeder with corn and maggot.

Chris Foulis 40 carp on the method feeder and surface tactics.

Niall O’Hanlon 45 carp and tench on pole fished pellets.

Kenny Hayton 41 carp, tench and bream on the waggler and corn.

John and Jason Oliver combined catch of 70 carp and tench on pole and waggler.

Many more great catches reported including many personal bests.

Ivy Lodge wishes to thank everyone that took part in the recent charity competition and attended the barbecue to raise money for Tiny Life.

The total amount raised was £580.00.

First place went to Wayne Lunt with 5 carp up to 6 lb.

Second place went to David Sterrit with 4 carp to 5 lb.

Ivy Lodge would also like to thank Kingsway Butchers Dunmurry for supplying the food.

NGT tackle, Irish Bait And Tackle and Loughview Angling Centre Lurgan for supplying the prizes for the competition and the raffle.
