New Stock Arrives At Ivy Lodge!!
Ivy Lodge Carp Fishery has recently received another boost to its stock with up to 500 carp and tench including rare golden tench of various sizes.
These fish are all from 6 – 10 inches and are from the same strain of the previous years stocking which are averaging one and a half to two pounds after just over a year from being stocked.
With more stock secured for spring 2013 things are looking better and better as the stock levels begin to grow at a natural level which is very important for the health and growth rates of the fish.
Fishing at Ivy Lodge has been patchy due to the drop in temperature however some great catches have still been reported through out October.
Anglers are reminded of the new range of baits and new Dinsmores tackle available at the fishery shop.
The worst day of rain we could have had arrives on the same day as our fish!! The smile on Stephens face says it all!
Many thanks to DCAL and Frankie Orr on your assistance with the stocking.
