ROLL ON SPRING

That’s the festivities out of the way for another year and we trust you all had a good Christmas and new year celebrations.

It has been exceptionally mild so far this winter and the fishing has remained steady with lots of good catch reports coming in as usual keeping it simple seems to produce the best results with the fishery pellets and small hook baits proving to be the best tactic.

The bigger fish are still falling to the POLONI BOILIES from Bait-tech (available in our onsite shop) with small p.v.a. bags or single pop ups working the best.

2017 is looking good with the fish growing year on year we are expecting our best year yet with lots of 8 – 9lb fish out last year these fish should all be doubles this year which will make for great sport and lots more new PBS.

We have made a few rule changes this year as listed below as well as a few that some people need reminded of. These have been introduced for your safety and for the safety of our fish and fishery.

If you book in a guest and they don’t turn up (without notifying us well in advance) you will still be charged the £12 and if you both don’t show you will still be charged the £22 the next time you are here.

No cookers or bbqs to be lit on the grass also do not place hot pans or empty hot liquid out as it also burns the grass.

NO FISHING A ROD AND POLE AT THE SAME TIME it’s one or the other.

A 2 rod limit applies and this is only when both rods are fished on a good sturdy bankstick or pod setup with baitrunner or similar reels.
